The Center has a BioSemi active-Two EEG system (32/64/128 + 8 channels). This equipment is imported from the Netherlands and is one of the most used and validated systems for electrophysiological scientific investigation of brain activity in many laboratories of important universities and research centers worldwide.
Our Center is also equipped to collect additional physiological and experimental data, such as galvanic response electrodes and photosensor device.
The electrodes of our EEG system are active, thus allowing a significant reduction of the noise in the electrophysiological signal.
EEG-Caps are available for research on electrophysiology in both adult and child population.
In addition, we are equipped with a response switch to maximize the accuracy in the recording of reaction times and the response synchronization with the experimental stimuli as correlated to the dynamic brainwaves recording (trigger).
